A remake of the popular platform game of more than 20 years ago.

Sir Fred was a really popular game for the PC (the legendary Amstrad, Spectrum, MSX, etc.) that caused a furor in 1985, and also caused many a headache because of its difficulty, something typical in adventure games in those days.

In this updated remake of Sir Fred the essence of the game is still in tact, although the possibility to save games makes life easier. Sir Fred: the remake is a platform adventure in which you control Sir Fred, a brave knight who has to rescue the kidnapped princess. The more veteran among you will undoubtedly remember the words that served as an introduction to the game:

"Once upon a time there was a wise old king who ruled over a happy land. Everyone lived happily ever after - except wicked Baron Hugh D'Unwyt and the king's daughter, whom he's kidnapped.

As all the other knights are away a-questing, it falls to the aged and corpulent Sir Fred to rescue her..."
